A poem from the past

Jan 23, 2006 14:59

I believe I posted this a long time ago but I felt like i wanted to repost it

WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME?

You knew I loved you so

So why did you have to go

When I look into your eyes

I see the prettiest blue sky

But you just had to leave

Like you didn’t give a shit about me

Goddamn girl you were my world

I wasn’t good enough

I listened to all your stuff

Your left me high and dry

I bet you expected me to cry

Well, not this time

I won’t give you the satisfaction

Quit trying to make this an attraction

I guess I’m not good enough for you

All I did was love you

But you just had to have me in turmoil

Goddamn girl you were my world

Well I lied I did shed a tear,

As I got my ass in gear

And finally understand why you left me

As they buried you under a tree.
