But not the icky sort, though I do have a tummyache.
In being all mind wandery today at work I finally realized what I wanna do for my next Elizabethan. Admittedly I'm recycling my red overskirt but psh...oh well.
Got the shoulder epaulets, lining+center (was a bit floppy so I threw a layer of trigger or something in between), outer layers cut before I pooped out. Had taken one of my brown sleeves apart to use it for a pattern for new sleeves and said I'm done for the night.
Goal: Thurs. or Friday zig-zag red fabric (frays easy), baste the bodice together to see if I can remember how things go together before REALLY doing it, measure/cutout/make picadils and at least pin them in.
Thing that throws me off a little is instead of back or front lace I'm doing it side lace on both sides so mentally I'm confusing myself how to put it together so I don't get a mobius strip. If someone has a site that explains it cool, if not I'll just baste it and figure it out. I'm finding that when ppl tell me how to do something I forget so I figure if I mess around with it enough on my own I'll eventually remember HOW I finally did it.
Kitty out!
