Armored Combat

Today was my first time trying armored combat and it was interesting. It' will be far more fun when A) i have all the correct (and correctly fitting) armor bits i need B) have a demi-gauntlet and my own sword (w/one of those awesome plastic-injected formed baskethilts that make really, really light swords ^^ robert and i have our rattan and the hilts, we just have to put them together) and C) i dont feel like a newb. (yeah i know, practice...a person gets used to knowing what they're doing when they practice a martial combat for 4 years and starting at ground zero again is more disorenting that i'd think it to be). In good news i have good points already, such as i actually strike at the target rather than to the sides of the target, have a good snap, and don't have to worry about sword arm strength as much as a total newbie.

Now to get everything together, learn sword and board, auth, learn spear, auth, and figure out how we're packing all our rapier and armored gear (mine and roberts) on top of our camping gear for Gulf Wars. (180 days^^)

sca, armored combat
