Today was really fun.  A few friends from work, my roommate, my friend from mit, and his friend all went to see hp 5 at a theatre in georgetown.  The weather was beautiful, the walk was fun, we all had a great time.  Then, we set off to find somewhere for lunch that was cheap, vegetarian, and not a chain.  We stumbled across this adorable little crepe shop that sold sweet and savory crepes, bubble tea, smoothies, all manners of caffeinated beverages, belgium-inspired treats, and even indian chats (snacks), in addition to some japanese snacks.  The shop doesn't take cash (due to security reasons) and has surprisingly cheap prices, especially for washington d.c.  After placing our orders, we went out to the back, where there was an amazing little backyard littered with small cafe tables and chairs and few patrons enjoying hot crepes and cool drinks on a sultry summer afternoon.  After sitting down, a waiter brought out steaming crepes one by one.  Mine was a crispy crepe filled with feta cheese, spinach, fresh tomatoes, and olive pesto.  Two large trees shaded the whole small yard, lights lined the fences on all sides, and heaters were set up so one can enjoy the atmosphere even on a winter night.  it was a perfectly magical atmosphere to enjoy a meal after hp.  It really makes me want to live in d.c.....
