SO! Yesterday, some of you may know, was a NamaOtoko live broadcast--this time featuring Tsuji, Shouta, Baba-chan, and Akki! So how on earth could I not go??
I went alone, which is a sad, sad thing, but since none of you losers will move to Tokyo and come be my best friend, it's what I must endure sadly.
I did get to chat in line with the girls around me who had come from Tochigi and Shizuoka that morning by Shinkansen, and were kind of o_____o "lucky bitch" at me when I said I walked there from Shinjuku XD Huzzah~ It was their first show, too, and when they asked how many times I'd been before, I said only once before, in January to see one of the shows because I was a 'Takasaki-kun fan' (didn't say Tsuji just because he hadn't been on there but once before I think). At this, one of the girls' eyes got wide and she reached out to shake my hand because she too was his fan XD Awwww~
Once inside, I counted myself lucky to be there alone, though, as going stag means you get to snag the single chairs nearer the front that no one is sitting in rather than having to try and find a place that can seat you and your five friends or whatever. As such, I got a rather nice seat near the front and a good view of the boys at all times :D
When the show finally got started and the guys came on, it was Shouta, Baba, and Akki for the next hour and a half. Tsuji was coming late because he had another event beforehand (he wasn't slated to appear at all initially, but joined at the last minute--which was why I decided to go XD) and would arrive at 2--which was, coincidentally, right when Baba was slated to LEAVE to also attend an event XD; We were also informed that after the 2-hour show streaming live for NicoNico viewers, there would be an additional half hour or so OFF the air with T2 and Akki (which got even better after THAT as well, but I'll mention that below XD).
You can view the show itself on NamaOtoko's website, I think, when they put it up later if you didn't get to see it initially, but...it was classic 5th cast crack XD Really, Shouta and Baba and Akki were NOT a smart trio to leave alone on live television XD;;; They were just super high tension and cracking each other up the whole time--leaving them crying at random intervals, "TSUJI-CHAN HURRY UP!" because Tsuji was the level-headed one who was supposed to keep them all in line XD Apaprently this also lead girls to TWEET TSUJI TO HURRY UP, confusing Tsuji who remarked later on that he kept getting all these tweets going, "TSUJI-KUN, SAVE THEM! SHOUTA AND THE GANG NEED YOU!"
One of my very favorite parts, though, was during a corner where they were supposed to write their favorite words on a blank postcard, and to pass the time while doing so, it was suggested they sing. A lot of people threw up suggestions--pretty much exclusively TeniMyu songs XD At one girl's suggestion of DESTINY (5th cast's weepy team song), Baba glanced up, brows furrowed, and said, "...What's that?" FUCKING TEAM CAPTAIN FORGOT HIS OWN TEAM'S SONG. WHAT. Babaaaaaa :|
This was quickly made awesome, though, but someone suggesting Saigo no Golden Pair at which they all three looked up and went, "Awww...we can't do that! That guy's not here!" <--that guy, referring of course to Tsuji XD
Still, they had it in their minds to SING THAT SONG, DAMMIT, so what did Baba and Akki start to do? Their very best impressions of Tsuji's lines in the song XDDDD Hands down, second-most enjoyable rendition of that song ever XD (because come on, nothing will ever beat the two best Golden Pairs in the history of TeniMyu singing that song together)
As the hour approached 2, though, it was time for Tsuji to come down, so while he had the finishing touches applied by the hair/makeup artist, Nao-chan (the NamaOtoko MC) suggested that Shouta order him a drink XD WHY SHOUTA? idk, but after some dithering, Shouta threw up a big smile and said, "I'm ordering Tsuji-kun his absolute favorite drink! MELON SODA!" XD; Umm ok. If you're confident in that XD;;
It was then time to call Tsuji down to join them, and it was unanimously decided that, "Well since this is Tsuji-kun we're talking about, it should definitely be Shouta who calls him down." WHY. WHY MUST IT BE HIS BEST FRIEND WHO'S PLAYED HIS BOYFRIEND ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS BEFORE, HMM? (I also found it kind of amusing that, between the four of them, Akki was the only one who'd never played someone's gay boyfriend before XD). Shouta did his job well, though, bringing Tsuji down and sticking close to him for the rest of the event, making sure Tsuji knew that it was him who ordered the melon soda (which was, of course, the only thing Tsuji drank the whole time :3)
Baba was supposed to leave when Tsuji arrived, but through some luck, they managed to put off his leaving for 15 min, so for that span of time we got all four of these guys there at once, after which Baba left and the room was suddenly a lot quieter XD
Around 3:45, though, Akki too had to leave...........which left, yes, T2 ALL ALONE FOR THE LAST 15-20 MIN. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL.
Also, I've been lamenting these long months that the guys never update about hanging out with each other anymore, assuming that this meant they DIDN'T, except T2 were very adamant about the fact that they still have lunch and go shopping together very often... Even admitting that they spent almost all their time together during Suikoden (the show they were recently in together) despite the fact that their characters had next to no interaction (WOULD'VE APPRECIATED KNOWING THAT BEFORE I SPENT 12,000 YEN ON TICKETS TO SEE IT GUYS). So...covering up for fans who would be disappointed they aren't close anymore, or genuine admission of truth, meaning there's still a lot to their relationship we don't get to see? EITHER WAY, DISAPPOINT ;___; (I prefer my T2 out and flirty and giggly and everything they were yesterday thanks :P)
Totally worth the ticket price, would go again!
Aaaaaand
PRICELESS. "After (NamaOtoko), I went and had tea with Tsujimoto-kun!" INDEED.
