Yeah, my 3rd year kids just got back from Kyoto and Hiroshima. But damn, a whole shinkansen? XD

Yep, it's that time of year when the third years all bugger off for a week! I remember seeing trains going through Mito, heading for Tokyo that were reserved for the school kids. Luck sods because those trains were sweet. much better than the regular trains!
