Oh. My. God.
It was...everything I could have possibly expected. Not everything I hoped--but let's face it, my hopes were, "Oh I hope I hope they announce they're doing another musical/show/event together, or come out as committed life-partners in front of the whole fricking crowd."
So, I'm not so surprise it wasn't everything I could've possibly hoped it would be :P BUT IT WAS EVERYTHING ELSE, AT LEAST.
I'll post a much longer, more fleshed-out report later, but it's kinda late right now, so here's the TxN-focused version!
The event started out with Matsuda-san, the head honcho of Nelke Planning, in a makeshift apartment receiving a fake phonecall telling him the head of MMV (who was SUPPOSED to host with him) couldn't make it. This segues into him deciding to invite some friends over.
A doorbell went off, and he told them to come in...AND THE VERY FIRST PAIR TO ENTER WERE, OF COURSE, TUTI AND NAGAYAN. TOGETHER. DID I MENTION IT WAS THE TWO OF THEM ALONE? AS A PAIR? TOGETHER? WELL THEY WERE.
Nagayan was looking really hot actually, especially his hair *____* (good hair day for that boy today!) And Tuti...well, Tuti was looking like Nagayan XD He hasn't updated yet, but seriously! He had on these pastel plaid capri-style pants and this hat that just screamed Nagayan to me XD; Amazingly enough, Nagayan didn't take a SINGLE picture of Tuti (or is saving up his Tuti spam for later :D), but you can see a teeeeeeny tiny bit of him here XD (top left, reflected in the mirror)
They both sat down on this little couch across from Matsuda, and Tuti introduced himself fairly normally (full name), then turned to Nagayan to let him do his thing, and he stands up and shouts, "HI TUTI DESU!" ooooooof course XDDDDD Everyone collapsed into giggles...except Tuti, who rolled his eyes in this gesture that clearly said, "yeah that was funny the first 2000 times you did it but now you can cut it out thx". This then had Matsuda launching into how backstage when he came in, he heard someone shouting over and over, "HI TUTI DESU! HI TUTI DESU!" and thought, "Damn Tuti's fucking loud" before realizing who the culprit was XD Also, apparently Nagayan shouts it at the same volume no matter how far or close someone is :P ii data~
Matsuda-san then made some comment about how it was nice that they were out there together, and Tuti (TUTI! I cannot believe HE made this comment) kind of wiggled his eyebrows and went, "Well we're the Golden Pair after all~" and there were lots of little whoops and cheers from the audience, and he kind of smiled and ducked his head, and then Nagayan looks him over and goes, "Are you BLUSHING? What're you blushing for?!" <--AND I KIND OF WANTED TO DIE IN MY SEEEEAAAAAT 8DDDDDDD
Apparently all the guests had been asked to bring a present to cheer up Matsuda for doing the event alone, so Tuti brought along...a little pumpkin XD Which apparently he'd picked up while filming earlier that day. Nagayan brought a letter for Matsuda-san and a book of interesting little true stories. He passed along the letter, telling Matsuda he could read it later, and picked a random story from the book. I don't really quite know what it was about (something involving the ship the Queen Elizabeth II and some Japanese captain, idk) except that while reading it, Nagayan would get hung up on random kanji now and then and Tuti (who was sitting next to him) would lean over his shoulder and tell him the proper reading XDDD It was so very cute and domestic.
After that, the next two guests came on (Naoya and Inoue Suguru), but instead of Tuti and Nagayan leaving, they MOVED TO ANOTHER LITTLE COUCH and stayed on stage. Because they never left the stage, with new guests just coming on to join the growing group, they were there the longest of everyone, AND they stayed sitting right beside each other just the two of them on this tiny little loveseat and sdfslidufhsldf IT WAS KIND OF AWESOME :PPPPP Like I said, BEST I COULD HAVE EXPECTED.
Tuti spent the whole time really attentive and acting as an MC, which I thought was amusing, because he doesn't normally strike me as an MC-type, but he definitely was the second-in-command to Matsuda, and really...acted like a fuku-Leader! Someone's been learning from Daiki and Moriyama-san~ :D Other fun things:
--Nagayan massaging Tuti's head with this weird head massager (...and later on trying it on himself) and OH PLEASE DO IMAGINE THE LOOK OF EROTIC BLISS ON THAT MAN'S FACE >________> *EMBARRASSING*
--Nagayan readjusting Akki's scarf while Tuti held the mic in front of him so he could narrate
--soooo much 1st cast/5th cast loooooove! I was just giddy with how Tuti and Nagayan would just be, "Oh the other day I was emailing Akki and blahblahblah~" and "BabaRyo's tension is so high today!" XDDDD So casual, like they'd known each other for years *___* THIS IS WHY THESE BOYS ARE THE BEST BOYS. DID ANY OTHER CASTS BOND LIKE THIS?? I FUCKING THINK NOT.
--Ichinose Hidekazu was the actor paired up with Nagayan for their KiraKira Actors DVD...and he and Tuti are both Yamanashi boys! They all realized this on stage tonight XDDDD It was hiiiighly amusing seeing Tuti and Ichinose step into this "Yamanashi World" XDDDD "OMG YOU'RE FROM YAMANASHI TOO?? WHAT PART?? I'M FROM XXXXXX!!"
--Nagayan read his letter to Matsuda later, and while a lot of it was funny and goofy, it really almost made me cry, because a big part of the middle was Nagayan sincerely thanking him for seeing something in Nagayan all those years ago and thinking he was good enough to be on stage and letting him be in TeniMyu because it let him into this world and let him meet all his friends and sdilfuhsldfs ;~~~~~;
--Nagayan was asked to cast everyone in a play, and cast Naoya as a salaryman, Ichinose as a samurai, and Tuti as a swindler/crook XD wtf XDDDD
I realized, talking with Kaoru afterwards, that...this was the first time these two had been themselves on stage at an event on their own more or less (they had friends in Naoya and Akki/Baba there, but everyone was kind of on their own). Which...was exciting! And made me realize how much I deeeeesperately want to see them do more of this, because hot damn if they aren't just a fucking JOY to watch be goofy and flirty and sdlfiushdfliusf I WANT TO RELIVE THIS EVENING AGAIN GAAAAAAHHHHHH.
