What Would Brian Boitano Do?
Watched the South Park movie for the first time--the movie was okay enough, but I absolutely love the soundtrack. God but these songs are addictive o___o *constant loop*
Yesterday was May 29th, and the 29th of every month is "Niku no Hi" (Meat Day) at the local Den (a big yakiniku chain), since 2 = ni and 9 = ku ♥ Suffice to say, it is my FAVORITE DAY EVER. Last night I went out with two of the other 3 Hikone Jr. High ALTs + one of their little sisters who was visiting and another Shiga ALT who came out to hang out.
Other Shiga ALT (OSA for short) informed us all of why she looked so tired--she'd been marathoning the entire series of Queer as Folk on youtube and was now on season 3 and LOVED IT.
It was at that point that I learned the other two ALTs in Hikone were VERY interested in watching the show and just didn't have the means (as in, they'd heard about it before, but never watched it and it sounded intriguing them).
Me: O___________O <--had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA these girls were even REMOTELY open to watching very hot boys boinking each other on TV. "Umm...I kinda...have the first three seasons on DVD..."
Them: "..........HERE WITH YOU IN JAPAN?!"
Me: "...Yeah, back at my apartment..."
Them: "..................CAN WE BORROW THEM?!"
8DDDDD I think we're all going to watch boyporn this weekend XDDDD God it will be so much fun watching that show from episode one with a group who's never even remotely been exposed to such things. One of the girls didn't even know it was like a gay Sex in the City, and when we explained it to her, it only seemed to intrigue her even more XDDDDD CAN'T WAIT.
In other news--HAPPYPANI TICKETS GO ON SALE JUNE 15TH. It will be a nightmare trying to get them DDDDDDD: Shibuya O-East has 1300 seats, according to Wikipedia. For comparison purposes, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space had 814 in the middle hall, and Koma Gekijou had 2088 seats.
Speaking of Koma Gekijou--it's CLOSING at the end of the year! Like, shutting down, never going to have plays again. Why? No idea... It's kinda depressing though :( I was just there watching my first and last BuriMyu ever 2 months ago...
Speaking of BuriMyu/Kitty Guys--I managed to get a ticket to the Birthday Event 8D The tickets sold out in 30 minutes, as there were only 66, but this is where stalking blogs paid off >_> I hope it's worth not trying to go to the Tokyo senshuuraku for Samurai Mode.
