Note: Assume the D.E.B.S didn't find Lucy and Amy in bed together.
It had been five years since the first time Lucy had "kidnapped" Amy. It had been the best seven days of her life. But then those damn D.E.B.S had to ruin everything. It was only by dumb luck that they hadn't caught the two young women in bed together. Lucy had managed to get the hell out of dodge and her favorite hideout just in time.
After that a new era had begun. Maybe she was being a little melodramatic but she was an arch-criminal bent on world domination so she was allowed the occasional melodrama. It was almost a requirement really.
Well to get back to the point, after that Lucy had spent just about every waking moment coming up with nefarious schemes to spend time with Amy. Each one more outlandish then the next. Each one ending with her almost being captured by the D.E.B.S. But it didn't matter. Amy was all that mattered.
Looking from the outside you might wonder, why she went through all that trouble. There had to be easier relationships out there. A criminal mastermind and a D.E.B, or more to the point, "The" D.E.B.. That was just plain nuts. But hey, Lucy liked nuts.
The simple fact was that even if she wanted to, Lucy couldn't be anything but a criminal and Amy would always be a D.E.B. There was no way they would let her go without a fight; and a treason conviction. So they were both really stuck.
But every so often, Lucy would "kidnap" Amy, or Amy would "capture" Lucy and they would have a few hours or days together before the other would "escape" or be "rescued".
The funny thing was that their rivalry was that of legend in both their circles. The battle between Lucy Diamond and Amy Bradshaw had reached epic proportions.
If the world only knew.
There was no rivalry.
Unless you counted the little game they played. Basically it was their only little version of "can you top this?"
And Lucy enjoyed a good game.
