The smell of leather was something Gabrielle had taken time to get used to. Of course she enjoyed the other smell that often came with Xena's armour, the soft smell of leather and soap combining into the smell of Xena.

She had taken her time that first night, accepting that she was finally going to be with the woman she wanted. The woman she'd wanted to be with for a long time. Her hands were slow as she mapped the weather-worn skin of the warrior beneath her, trusting herself to know what to do and when to do it. Her hands had been slow enough that the brunette was writhing under her, clearly not used to taking time over things. She had smiled as she lowered a kiss over Xena's forehead then cheeks then lips. The kiss grew hot at the smae time her hand got where Xena had wanted it.

The pressure started slowly then got faster and harder, Gabrielle enjoying keeping the pace. She had learnt at Xena's side for long enough and Xena had had plenty of time to show her what she did and didn't like, which was probably why she got off so fast.
