Pre-poll time! Woohoo!
The weather is getting warmer and the days are getting longer (at least in the Northern Hemisphere), and you know what that means: Femslash Ficathon pre-poll time! This year, as last year, we'll be running the ficathon dually on Livejournal and Dreamwidth. Announcements will be posted to both femslash11 and 
femslash11, and you can post your stories to either one.
The annual fandom poll will take place in a couple of weeks. Before we make the poll, we'd like some input on which fandoms should be considered for The Big List. Everyone who participates in the Femslash Ficathon needs to be able to request and write in at least one Listed fandom, and we need your help to get an accurate picture of what people are writing and reading nowadays.
You will still be able to write and request in fandoms that aren't on the List! You'll have the opportunity to request and offer any fandom as a wildcard, in addition to your listed requests and offers.
The following fandoms were on the List last year, so they're automatically on the poll. (They will not automatically be on the List. Just on the poll to see if they're on the List.)

Other than the fandoms listed above, which fandoms do you think should be nominated for the List for Femslash '11? Comment with your suggestions and maybe a link to where the femslash is happening in that fandom. The goal is to include fandoms where there's currently a lot of femslashy activity - so feel free to comment with your favorite fandom, but only if you think a lot of people would be excited to request and write in that fandom.
Anime and comics fandoms are farther off the mods' radar than other things, so we're especially hoping for information/pimping/squee about those corners of fandom. We want to be able to include as many people as possible!
