Through her laughter, she asked, "Whose idea was this crazy shindig anyway?"
"Who else would come up with this? Your girlfriend," Becky replied.
"BECKY!"
"Come on, everyone knows what's going on with you and Sue."
Rebecca's face was flaming. "So, uh, where is she?"
"I'm not supposed to say."
That was when Steve mumbled something about cake.
Icing had never looked so good on any woman.
