She pulls her close as they fight, close enough she can feel her hot breath panting over her flesh, close enough she can knee in her gut and hit her head with her own at the same time. They jab at each other with punches, stakes, and swords, anything they can lay their hands on. They throw rocks, grass, whatever becomes available. They fight like cats and dogs, and the entire while, Faith is smiling.
Buffy flips her over her back, somersaults, and lands on top of her, her stake embedding in the ground next to Faith's ear. Their bodies are covered with sweat, their mouths open and gasping for breath. The dark Slayer winks at her. "Pretty hot and heavy stuff, B."
Buffy's eyes flash before she glowers. The girl could dust a Vamp with that look, but there's something in her eyes right before that menacing glare that makes Faith's heart thump wilder and her grin widen. For just a second, there's truth. For just a second, there's realization and acceptation and while everything in Buffy's body a second later is growling at Faith, Never for you, the other Slayer knows better.
They're two sides of the same coin, and there's no one better to flip either of them. She throws Buffy this time, and when she lands on top of her, she takes just a second . . . Just a second to feel her warmth wriggling to get free between her legs. Just a second to feel her breath rushing down over her. Just a second to smirk down at her and tell her with her eyes she knows it'll always be her who gives her the best rides.
The End
