Buffy's eyes searched Faith's for some sign of what she was up to as she stepped closer to her. She shot out a hand, cupped the back of her head, and splayed her fingers into her blonde hair. Then, before Buffy could protest, she touched her lips to hers and drank deeply. Buffy sighed, opening her mouth to her conquest, and met her tongue with hers.
"Yeah, right, whatever, B." Buffy blinked, returning to her sad reality, and then watched Faith walk away, taking a piece of her heart, and her bravado, with her as she went.
