“N-N-Nami-san,” Vivi whispered. “Sh-Should we really be doing this? I mean-“
Nami quickly lifted up her free hand to silence her. She leaned closer into the safe, waiting to hear the soft click that would signal her victory. After turning the knob to the right number, the sound came and the metal box opened. She would have shouted in joy if it wasn’t midnight and all of their crewmates were fast asleep.
Vivi gulped and looked around, almost expecting any of their friends to pop out of the shadows any minute now and catch them red-handed. Heaven forbid what Sanji would do if he saw them-
“Whip cream, chocolate syrup, cherries, ice cream...” Nami muttered, ticking the ingredients off in her mental list. Locking the refrigerator had been a necessity because of Luffy, but it would of course be a lost cause on the resident thief. Nothing would stop her from enjoying herself, not even the huge safe that Sanji had bought especially for these midnight thefts.
After getting the pile of sweet items, Nami kicked the refrigerator door close and smiled coyly at Vivi. “Now that we have our... props, let’s begin, shall we?”
Vivi turned seven different shades of red, well aware what those props were for and why it needed to be done in the middle of the night.
