“Major,” Sisko said, “I believe you said you’d leave an hour ago.”

“I got carried away.”

“Don’t you have anything better to do with your Friday nights?” Sisko inquired.

“No.”

“Ah. I see. Well Major, I guess I’ll just have to order you to stop and go out.”

“Out?” Kira asked increadulously, “Out where?”

“Out to dinner,” Sisko said with a smile, “Lt. Dax said she would show you around.”

“Around?? Have you forgotten that I’ve been here longer than any of you?”

“Oh no, Major, but every time I look, there’s something new. Now out. That’s an order.”

Kira scowled and cursed to herself as she left ops, but later, pinned up against the bulkhead by Jadzia’s stong arms (not to mention the taste of her on her tongue), she decided that going out wasn’t so bad after all.
