“The Borg are more perfect.”

“I have more lungs.”

“I have assimilated more knowledge.”

“I’ve killed less people.”

“Lieutenant, for a Klingon, is that really an achievement?”.

“Shut up, Seven.” B’Elanna growled.

“I take it that I won, then?”

“As if.”

“Then continue your verbal assault.” B’Elanna resisted the urge to throw the ex-borg against the wall.

“I’ve seen snow.”

“I’ve seen racheonal tetra kolds.” Seven responded calmly.

“I’ve kissed a Borg and lived to tell the tale.” B’Elanna said seriously. Seven came closer to laughing than she ever had before.

“Have not!” she exclaimed.

“Well, not yet.” The half-Klingon confessed. Before Seven could react, B’Elanna roughly grabbed her and pushed her up against the cool metal wall, forcing her lips onto Seven’s. She held Seven’s wrists against the wall and laid her knee against her stomach, blocking any escape the ex-borg might attempt. Seven fell apart under her grasp, leaning into B’Elanna, kissing her back. Minutes later, B’Elanna broke the kiss and walked backward.

“Fine,” Seven said, her voice a touch lower than usual, “I suppose you have.”

“So I win now?” B’Elanna smirked.

“There was no apparent finish line.”

“Well, I’ve just crossed it.” Seven noted B’Elanna’s stubbornness. It was, at times, inefficient.

“Incorrect, Lieutenant. I believe I’ve kissed a Klingon. Twice.” B’Elanna raised an eyebrow.

“Have you, now?”

“Well, not yet.”

“Are you sure you’re going to live to tell the tale?”

“I’ve drawn conclusions.”

“I’ll take that as a yes. Don’t underestimate me.”

“I never did.”
