So many years had passed between losing Marni and gaining Amber, much of that time she was spent alone and depress, that Mag was unsure of what to do. When the two were together the singer would be thinking of her old lover. Amber tried to ignore the nagging feeling inside. Amber tried to push back the acidic truth that Mag still loved her Marni, maybe even more than she loved Amber.
Amber Sweet was addicted to the knife, according to the rumors. With the numerous surgeries and her constantly changing appearance, it was widely assumed that she was addicted to surgery, always trying to perfect her image that much more. The rumors and assumptions were wrong. Amber was trying to change her face to match that of another woman, Marni Wallace. And with each shot of Zydrate, with each cut and each stitch she got that much closer.
Blind Mag had eyes that can do more than see, but even with her engineered vision she couldn’t see what was right in front of her. With Amber’s constant reminder of Mag’s first love, she was determined to become her in the most literal sense.
