Punishment angst for challnge 33

Fandom: Law and Order SVU/Bad Girls crossover
Pairing: Olivia Benson/Helen Stewart
Rating: PG-13.
Word count: 250 (yet again)
A/N: I'm aware of the space/time impossibilities of this. Don't care.

Olivia felt strange inside this woman’s house.

“So,” she tried to maintain her professionalism. “You’ll get the extradition?”

“It’s out of our hands now.” The prison Governor’s knee was rubbing up her leg. “Do you talk about work in your sleep?”

She should have let Elliot come to London instead. But home cut an edge down her spine, when she swallowed.

The more Helen Stewart drank, the more flirtatious she became. Olivia wondered if she knew the effect she had. When she’d visited Larkhall, she even noticed a beautiful female prisoner giving Helen the eye. Helen may have flirted back, without meaning too. A prisoner. Jesus, what an innocent.

The governor was drunk. But so was Olivia, when she pinned Helen’s body to the couch. Tongue and teeth, on her neck, on her shoulders. She wanted her lips to come away with the indentation. It must have hurt, because Helen cried out. But Olivia couldn’t stop, couldn’t care. She wanted to punish herself. Someone. Anyone. Even Alex. She’d rather hurt her than be her damn widow.

Helen just let out a sob.

“Nikki. Oh… God.”

Olivia’s breath faltered, as the panic set in. The guilt. She broke free.

“I’m… so sorry.”

Helen wrapped her arms around herself.

“Shit, shit. What have I…”

And then Olivia suddenly got it.

“Jesus.” She shook her head, as Helen continued to mumble the prisoner’s name.

“Hey, now. Shhhh.” Olivia was surprised at her own calmness. She sighed.
“We both need to stop punishing ourselves.”
