“It’s a girl color, don’t you think?” Franziska continued, leaving the subject of spirit mediums behind.
“Well, I am a girl.”
There was no one else in the hallway, and Franziska raised a hand to cup Maya’s face. “Yes, you are.”
To her surprise, Maya did not pull away, but grasped Franziska’s other hand tightly.
“Well, if you’re so interested in girls, maybe it’s time you got used to a little pink.”
