Pansy wishes things were different.
She read the paper everyday. The war had been over for years. She was married now, a loyal wife and mother. It was wrong of her to still scan through the Prophet, searching for any mention of that one name that had always set her pulse slamming through her. Not that it was very hard. She was everywhere, smiling happily out from photographs, perched just to the side of that stupid hero she’d married, smiling shyly, never quite in the spotlight, but always there. A presence, gently guiding her family.
