Summary: Thelma’s life before and after Azazeal.
Before Azazeal, Thelma had been flesh and bone and she could touch Cassie. It might have only been chaste touches but she could touch Cassie and convince her that she wanted her just as much as Thelma wanted Cassie. Now she was a ghost and although she could touch inanimate objects, she couldn’t touch living flesh. They could come so close but it was always too far away for Thelma. And Thelma knew in Cassie’s heart that it was also too far away for her friend even though they could be mere millimeters apart and if she were still alive they’d be touching. After Azazeal, Thelma knew that if she had lived, Cassie would have been hers. The demon hadn’t sacrificed her; instead he had murdered the one person who had stood in his way.
