This was wonderful. I enjoyed the descriptions of Max's physical response to a casual touch from Original Cindy. I especially loved how, at the end, Max had to pretend she hadn't felt anything. It felt very true to life.

I've only ever read one other Max/Cindy fic, and there really should be more because they were both awesome. If you write any more, drop me a line, because you're guaranteed a reviewer!
