Diana’s eyes fly open as she answers quickly, “Nothing.”
“What are you doing with your feet?” Jessica takes a step closer.
“I said nothing.” She turns to the locker and prays that Jessica will forget what she saw.
“Were you clicking your heels?”
Diana doesn’t respond, she simply closes her eyes.
Jessica leaves the girl alone in the locker room. No answer is a response when it comes to Diana Taurasi.
Diana whispers to herself as a tear falls down her cheek, “There’s no place like home with Sue.”
