Title: Switch
Fandom: Law & Order: SVU
Words: 250
Pairing: Casey/Olivia
Rating: Er… PG-13 for language, I guess.
Prompt: 116 - Shark

Casey folded her arms, shifting uncomfortably from one foot to another. Her eyes watched Elliot cautiously through the one-way, green hues narrowed on the explosive detective. Frowning, her thoughts wandered away from the case, eyes flicking down. How long had she been wearing these damn heels and when the hell were they coming off?

Huang was murmuring some psychobabble about how the suspect shouldn’t be pushed too far. Again the lawyer’s attention strayed from the details of the case. She was studying the change in posture in the other cop in interrogation. Olivia.

One moment, she was relaxed, the acme of calm. She emanated an aura of serenity, entirely unruffled by her blustering partner’s empty (or not so empty) threats. Then, if Casey had so much as blinked, she would’ve missed it. The brunette was up and out of her chair in one fluid movement so graceful you’d swear she wasn’t NYPD. Those brown eyes were intense and hard and in the perp’s face with no way out. She was leaning in so close she was sure the anxious man could smell her sweet breath.

The redhead nearly shivered as Liv flashed those pearly whites, eyes reflecting none of the smile and all of the determination she had in nailing this man’s ass to the wall. Casey did shiver when she realized she wanted to see the detective change on her like that. One minute, an innocent minnow… the next, the swift, agile shark that had already gobbled her up.
