Your bags are packed.
They’re stacked in the hallway, you won't be back after you leave here in the early hours of the morning.
Your last time in this place, you let your fingertips trace the empty spaces you’ve left your wake. You quietly survey everything you have taken.
You hear soft footsteps approach, feel soft breath in you hair, against your throat.
When you turn, without words she implores you:
Please Ashley, one last time.
She still loves you, you can see it in her eyes:
I know you don't want me, but please deny it.
Just for tonight.
