My most humble thanks to
ana_khouri for letting me use her drabble. The angst was so, very tempting.
She couldn’t look at Laura in the way she did the star-charts. Not with careful scrutiny, not in the once-enamored way she read Astrometrics’ reports.
She was afraid of what it would bring: Resurrection from the dead. To sit at the right hand of the Reaper. Without Seven, who gathered Kathryn’s beliefs in a universe bereft of gods…and made the universe’s charts worthwhile.
Laura traced the million, burning stars into Kathryn’s skin. They froze in a vacuum, in the nothingness that command hollowed out.
Kathryn asked herself with each moan she incited, Was it worth it? For her to die?

Laura couldn’t care less; she rode the waves of unbelievable pleasure and unfathomable pain. She understood the deviants of the underground, wondered if this sin she enacted would be brought to the stakes that lit the skies of ancient Saggitarion.
It was in the middle of the third orgasm that she finally flipped the Voyager Captain over and pushed her hard against her bed. This pleasurable bed that humans hardly deserved. Kathryn was hardly protesting.
But in her eyes Laura saw the girl with the rascal-grin, the glower of Viper-adoration…
Desperately, desperately, Laura reached in, sought the wetness…and found nothing.
