Hermione kept a list of fascinating things she had yet to experience, with emphasis on those best taken care of in the remainder of her time at Hogwarts. This way, she explained to the other girls in the sixth year Gryffindor dormitory, she had a pretty good shot at knowing everything eventually. They thought it was cocky, sure, but that way, when she mentioned experimenting they agreed, assuming it was for completeness sake.
It was just research, really. When it was over they put their clothes back on and brushed their hair, and Hermione checked one thing off her list.
