Tricia hated that when Haley walked out on World’s, the camera had instantly been turned to her. She hated that the media had captured her crying, a moment of weakness, and then replayed it over and over again to prove their point - Haley was the devil.
Mostly, she hated that everyone thought that Haley was the devil. And that everyone thought she thought that. Haley had written her a note, asking for her to just understand.
She only wished that Haley could understand. She wasn’t crying because she’d lost the chance at gold. She was crying because she’d lost Haley.
