“Forking hell”
“It’s fine darling, you just need to remember the cake fork goes at the top, beneath the dessert spoon, and the salad fork is to the left of the dinner fork.” Tahani started going around the place settings Eleanor had set out and correcting the forking mix up.
It had been six weeks since Eleanor had arrived, mistakenly, in The Good Place and her soulmate (or at least the soulmate of the saintly Eleanor) Tahani had suggested that etiquette sessions could be used to supplement Chidi's ethics lessons to make her good enough to belong here.
“There, perfection itself,” Tahani beamed at the now correctly laid out table. “Now let’s put it all away and see if you can get it right this time.”
Eleanor looked at the table and genuinely considered forking herself in the eye instead. If it wasn’t for the fact the Tahani was super hot and amazing in bed she’d have gone crazy by now. What kind of paradise would have so much moral and social messiness? This was torture, it was like she was in the Bad...
“Forking ash-hole.”
Tahani blinked and froze in the middle of packing away the cutlery in an ornate wooden box. “Well that’s not going to make you teacher's favorite.”
“Not you hot stuff, Michael! We need to find Michael, that motherforking shirt-stain.”
Tahani followed as Eleanor stormed off.
Michael sighed into his recorder. “Attempt 589. Combining ethics and etiquette lessons is too much of a give away.”
