And here you are standing outside her door, your face tear stained, your hand on your lips, still burning from the pressure of her own soft lips kissing yours.
You kissed her back. Oh God! You kissed her back and then pulled away, glaring at her, blaming her for taking advantage of your vulnerability when you knew you were the one that put yourself in that position. You knew the possibilities of what could happen behind that closed door, sitting on her bed, her arm around you.
You sought comfort from this prisoner in your charge when you could just as easily have gone home and sought refuge in Sean, who knows you inside and out. Or does he? In light of what just happened you're forced to wonder, in fact, if you truly know yourself anymore.
