"We did it!" Harley exclaims joyously, bouncing on the balls of her feet toward Ivy. "We actually did it! Just the two of us! Did you see how I took care of those fuzz?"
"I did." Ivy's arms are loaded with sparkling jewels that will be more than enough to sustain her babies and research for several months to come, maybe even a year.
"We did great! We make a kickass team!"
Ivy barely registers that Harley is leaning in close to her before her mouth is almost on hers. "Wait!" she warns, throwing up her arms and dropping the jewels.
"Ivy!" Harley wails after finding herself kissing Ivy's glove instead of her lips.
"Sorry, Harls, but you know the rules."
"I know! I know you're toxic, but I don't care!" She's seen her kill men with just a touch of her lips, but she really doesn't care. When she wants to kiss her woman, she wants to kiss her woman!
"I know," Ivy retaliates, pulling a pair of plastic lips out from her glove, "but I do!" She secures the fake lips into place before reaching for Harley. "Now come here, baby." She hooks her fingers gently around Harley's neck and leads her in for a deep kiss. The kiss is enjoyable and passionate, but Harley still can't help sighing against her faux lips and wondering what it would be like to really kiss Ivy. It would probably kill her, she knows, but oh, what a way to go!
