Laurel was hungry when she woke. No. She was ravenous. Starving. Famished. She opened her eyes and tried to sit up. Her head thunked loudly on the wood. It was dark. Pitch black. But she could see. She could see she was wearing a thin white dress and she could see she was in a coffin.
She pushed up with both hands and the coffin life flew off.
“Welcome to the family.”
Laurel whipped her head round and saw Thea. Gorgeous Thea. Her pale skin contrasted with her black corset and tight leather pants. On the floor, unconscious, was a blonde woman. Laurel could smell and hear the blood that was pumping in her veins. It made her hunger grow unbearable.
“You really did it. You really changed me.”
“I promised I would lover,” Thea prodded the unconscious woman with the tip of her boot. “She’s yours.”
Laurel leapt out of the coffin. She let the hunger take over her fangs sank into the woman’s throat and drank. She had never tasted anything as incredible as the hot blood. She was a vampire. She was one of the Queen family, part of the most powerful vampire clan in Star City. Feeding made her body tingle, an erotic tremble pulsed through every nerve.
The woman was dead and drained in minutes. Laurel barely had time to get up on her knees before Thea pounced on her.
“Fuck me,” Laurel demanded.
Thea tore off the flimsy white dress and kissed her roughly.
