Blake watches her sleepily. She didn’t think she’d ever be able to forgive Strauss, but the moment their lips touched again after all these years, she knew she was immediately reminded all of her old feelings. ‘
Blake smiles wistfully.
“What are you thinking about?” Strauss asks.
Blake takes Strauss’s hand and kisses her knuckles. “Just thinking about us… I’ve missed us.”
“Me too.”

Blake knows that Strauss and Rossi have been seeing each other. She shouldn’t be jealous. She’s the one who left Strauss. Yet every time she sees Strauss and Rossi- even the most innocent of exchanges- she feels her heart wrench with irrational jealousy.
She wants to grab Strauss, push her up against the wall and remind her why she used to love her.
But it was selfish. Blake would never leave James and it would be cruel to manipulate Strauss like that.
Then again… manipulation and cruelty had been as ever present in their relationship as the love and sex.
