Rating: PG

A/N: This one's for radak: a sincere thank you for the icons and the wallpapers. Keep 'em coming!
Summary: Laura has her misgivings.

Flashes: conspiring with Bill, fraternizing with the wrong dissidents, the hunger she indulged right here, in Kathryn’s quarters, to gain some sort of reprieve.

Her worries tightened and it put Kathryn’s ministrations to a halt.

“What’s on your mind?”

Laura picked her words carefully. “How it would’ve been if I wasn’t the President.”

“Missing the good old days?”

“The classroom, of all things,” Laura said.

Kathryn smiled reassuringly, touching Laura’s cheek. “You’re pretty much in the same spot as before. *Teachers never know when their influence stops.” Kathryn bestowed soft kisses, cleansing, like the patter of rain. “I don’t, either.”

Title: Between Frakking Up and Believing
Author: frogfrizz
Fandom: Battlestar Galactica
Pairing/s: Starbuck/Roslin
Rating: PG
Challenge: School
Word count: 100
A/N: Trying my inexperienced hand at these two.
Summary: Starbuck makes a choice.

She was a frak-up; she’d known it since flight school. The Adamas had a way of twisting that knife gently: because Lee had Zak’s jaw, because the Old Man had Zak’s eyes.

It was different with the President. Please, call me Laura.

Somehow, in the private spaces of Colonial One, when whispers turned to moans, Kara would say his name instead of hers.

Not that Laura seemed to care…

…Then the day came when Laura sent her for the Arrow.

Pilots had to choose. Between frakking up and believing. In the tight embrace of her Cylon ship, Starbuck chose her.
