Summary: The ladies are all on vacation
Blanche walked down the row of beach chairs, sarong wrapped around her hips and sporting a dark blue swimsuit. Dorothy watched out of the corner of her eye, ostensibly reading a book.
Blanche sat down on the edge of Dorothy’s chair. “Would you help me get my back?”
Dorothy set the book down and took the bottle from her. “Where’s Rose and ma?” Dorothy whispered.
“Rose is right behind me. Sophia’s still putting pastries in her purse at the buffet.”
Dorothy scoffed a laugh. “That sounds right. Embarrassing. But right.” She dropped a kiss to Blanche’s shoulder.
“Tonight.” Blanche promised.

Summary: Dorothy makes her work for it
Blanche knows why the men all flock to her. They always have. It’s her raw, pure sexual charisma. It’s her inescapable, undeniable allure. She’s always been impossible to resist. Men dote on her!
So why was Dorothy immune? Why did she have to work so hard to keep Dorothy happy? Sometimes it frustrated her but usually, as she teased a hand up Dorothy’s back, asking what was wrong with her best come hither look or puppy dog eyes, it made her smile.
Being with Dorothy was not always easy. But she had to admit that it was always worth it.
