Once upon a time Princess Nyssa was taken by a cruel and powerful man who called himself her Father. There was no biological relationship but he insisted she belonged to him as his daughter. He imprisoned her in his most formidable fortress, waiting for her to grow old enough to marry her off for his own purposes.
Sara, daughter of the Captain of the castle guard, grew up hearing the story of the princess that had been taken from their land. She vowed one day to save her.
She learned to fight. She endured the ridicule of those who declared her foolish.
When she finally came of age, much to the despair of her family, Sara set off on her quest.
The journey was long and filled with trials. There were bandits. Going through the dark woods she encountered spiders the size of horses. In the fire swamp she wrestled rats of unusual size.
But she made it to the dark Lord's domain.
It took a year, hiding amongst the fearful people, to plan her rescue attempt.
Princess Nyssa was woken by clashes of metal, grunts of exertion and groans of agony.
When the door opened she was ready to fight.
Sara pulled off her dented helmet.
Nyssa suddenly understood why she had been so repulsed by the potential suitors her 'Father' had brought.
This blonde female warrior was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen.
The kiss took Sara by surprise, but was very much welcomed.
Then they ran.
