Summary: Serena loses at a game in a local street fair.
Serena laughed as she followed her Pancham and her Fennekin towards the closest stand in the street fair. An old man gave her and her pokémon three rings, which they were supposed to throw and get in the arms of a Hoopa-looking statue in order to win the prize.
She gave a ring to Pancham and another ring to Fennekin, and on the count of three they tossed their rings... and none of them were successful, all throws failing miserably and winning them zero prizes.
Disappointed, the pokémon trainer and her pokémon turned around to walk away, where they found Shauna and her Bulbasaur staring back at them.
"Oh come on Serena, you're not the type to give up that easily" Shauna smiled, grabbing her by the hand. "Let's go to the next game and win it together!"
As enthusiastic as always, Shauna started running towards the next stand. Serena couldn't help but laugh as the energetic girl guided her to the next game, while their pokémon ran after them trying to keep up, and she then noticed how tight she held her hand as they ran together... and how surprisingly nice that felt.
