Margene looked into the glass staring at her reflection. She was not the same girl she’d been last year. No last year, she’d been just another sister wife, the mother to Bill’s children. How things had changed. This woman that gazed back at her was someone she didn’t know. She was someone that had been reduced by the call of basic, primal lust.
“What are you doing?” A voice asked from behind her.
“What? Oh nothing, just looking in the mirror.” She replied never turning from her reflection.
“Oh, well are you coming back to bed?”
She nodded before taking one last glance. Tonight was Nikki’s night, but that was fine with her. A small smile danced on her lips as she followed Barb’s steps back in to the bedroom.
