Rachel furrowed her brow; the sunshine that had been warming her face was eclipsed and she opened her eyes.
"What in god's name are you doing?"
Rachel sat up. "I'm enjoying the last of the sunshine before winter."
"You're covered in leaves."
"That's half the fun, boss." Rachel grinned. "You never played in the leaves?"
Gill shrugged, "about a million years ago."
"Allow me to reintroduce you." Rachel held out her hand. Gill hesitated for a moment before acquiescing. Rachel gave her a tug and pulled Gill into her arms.
"You're going to be the death of me." Gill whispered.
2.
The wind kicked up and the leaves rustled and swirled. Rachel's fingers slid into Gill's short, dark hair. The smell of the freshly downed leaves, the cool grass and slight chill in the air combined with the heat from Gill's body gave Rachel the most delightful feeling of nostalgia.
"You're gorgeous." Gill whispered, pulling Rachel into a kiss.
Rachel wrapped an arm around Gill, laying back in the leaves and pulling the older woman with her. Rachel deepened the kiss, mmming softly
Gill hiked a leg up over Rachel's hip. Rachel's hand trailed down Gill's curves and squeezed her ass.

A throat was cleared from behind them and they separated quickly.
Janet chuckled. "Afternoon, ladies."
"Afternoon, Janet." Gill mumbled embarrassedly.
"Forget you invited me for tea?" Janet laughed.
"Yes, I did." Gill confirmed, standing and wiping the colorful foliage from her clothes.
"Is this what you wanted to tell me?" Janet gestured generally at the two women.
"Yes, it is." Gill nodded.
"Do I still get tea?"
"Of course. Go on in."
Rachel got to her feet and picked a leaf off Gill's back.
"Do I embarrass you?" Rachel whispered.
"Exponentially." Gill grinned. "And I love every minute of it."
4.
Janet set her tea down. "So, when did this start?"
"Three months ago." Rachel said as Gill said, "a month ago."
Janet laughed. "I'm sure there's a story there."
"Godzilla's not counting taking me home after her retirement party."
"I knew it! I knew you two left together!" Janet exclaimed. "One minute you were there and the next you were both gone!"
Gill sighed a little, sipping her tea.
"Well, good for you." Janet nodded. "I mean, it's about time."
"What does that mean?" Rachel laughed.
"Not a word, Janet."
"Sorry, Rach, Gill has friend seniority. My lips are sealed."
