clarahow Clara here is as I envisage her with very limited knowledge of the character(s), as portrayed on a show I've not seen an episode of since halfway through S6 of the new incarnation. I am working through ideas on how to go (in my who!verse from Matt Smith's ' twelfth' Doctor to a new Incarnation who, in my head canon, is played and/or inspired by
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0815317/?ref_=nv_sr_1. The original inspiration for this; which had to be cut from this version but will play, periodically, in my head until that new Doctor arrives on the page. This drabble is definitely part of that process but, as yet, my muse in her wisdom, has not yet chosen to reveal how.
Clara stared at... herself?
Much older, but the same.
There were the tiny scars, as if made by the old glass.
Her echo shifted, no her hands twitched; twisting as if desperate to hold a weapon.
'You need to go,' a voice splintered.
Hers?
'For we to live,' it shattered.
Clara's world shifted through her.
A blade swept down from nowhere.
Screaming, the blades deafened her as they clashed.
She? pushed the death blow away with her own blade and, horror-struck, struck through her own shoulder blade.
Clara dropped the blade; stupified, she watched as she ran for The Doctor.
This, btw
was the gif that initially inspired what this became.
