Title: Grave Decisions
Prompt: #466 Dead
Fandom: Addams Family
Pairing: Debbie/Morticia
Rating: PG
Word count: 250
Notes: References to being buried alive, mild gunplay, set after Addams Family Values

“Debbie,” Morticia greets her with a placid smile and a glint in her eyes. “How are you?”

Debbie thumbs the safety on her gun. “You’re kidding, right?” she sneers. “You buried me alive!”

Morticia tilts her head ever so slightly. “Ah, that was unfortunate,” she agrees mildly. “We were sixty percent sure you were dead, so we simply chose to go with the majority.”

Debbie takes a step closer, eyes wild. “I had to claw my way out of that grave! Do you have any idea what that did to my manicure?!”

“Dirt beneath your nails, blood across your knuckles?” Morticia’s lips pull into a small smile. “A marked improvement, I must say.”

She’s so pale, eyes so dark, and when Debbie leans in to dig the barrel of the gun into the bottom of Morticia’s jaw, the smell of Morticia’s skin is sickly-sweet and wicked.

“I’ll kill your whole family for this,” Debbie hisses, and this close she realises that Morticia’s breath is cold.

“I’m sure you will,” Morticia says, serene. Her fingers stroke lightly up the back of Debbie’s hand. “But before the homicide, perhaps we could celebrate your return?”

The kiss Morticia presses to Debbie’s mouth is soft, a tease, and it sends a thrill of need all the way down to her pale pink pumps.

Debbie considers the offer for only a second. “Sure, why the hell not. I remember where the bedroom is.”

“Splendid. Oh, and Debbie?” Morticia murmurs against her lips. “Bring the gun.”
