Pansy sat beside Hermione as the Gryffindor stared out over the Great Lake, a book open and forgotten in her lap. Brown eyes glanced over briefly before returning to the water.
"You're dead to me," Hermione said.
Pansy sighed. "Are you still mad about the other day?"
"No, it thrills me that I fell in love with a bitch."
"It's not like it was a surprise at least."
Hermione clenched her jaw and Pansy smiled. "I love when you pretend to hate me," Pansy teased.
"Who's pretending?"
Leaning in close, Pansy breathed softly on Hermione's cheek, causing her to shiver.
"Fine then, play the bitch, but we both know whom does it better."
Hermione didn't stop herself from leaning into Pansy's kiss, melting against her despite her previous annoyance with the Slytherin.
"Now if only you would let me get under your skirt..." Pansy started, smirking.
Pushing her away, Hermione stood. "Never, Parkinson. I've no idea where your mouth has been."
"On you."
Hermione blushed brightly and walked away, leaving Pansy cackling by the lake.
