Oh my gosh, enchanted skis would be the most amazing thing ever!! This is so cute, and it makes so much sense that Hermione would struggle with pronounciation - she learns most easily from books, and reading and understanding a word is a very different thing to speaking and hearing it. Loved this so much! ♥

Well, everybody already has Fleur struggle with her english. Even Rowling has her accent shoved into our faces. So why not turn it around? They're in the Alps, the language to speak would be french, wouldn't it? Although in this case it was more than a mispronunciation. "breath taking" doesn't translate directly to french, so Hermione said something silly.
