The wooden table creaks as a woman who was once a goddess now trapped in human flesh, leaned forward to see this other woman. The parts of her face the light of the candle could not reach.
The smell of rum lingered on her lips. Yes, this is her, Tia Dalma thought. The woman her flask filled with 'pure' water had shown her. It had never lied to her yet. One of Jack's many scorned and cheated lovers. There was no reason for her not to despise him.
One might say that she (Anamaria) and Tia herself looked alike. But, there were things more important than that.
Anamaria glares at her, nostrils flaring at her. The light does not catch her eyes.
A lock of hair would suffice, Tia thought once more, mentally tapping her chin.
Anamaria gulps down the rest of her rum, slamming the glass. The table creaks again. A challenge?
Tia Dalma feels herself smirking. No matter how drunk she will get, she will never spill her secrets.
But, Anamaria will, for she is a human who has always been a human. They, without fail, make mistakes.
