Asami hovered over her cup of lukewarm, barely touched coffee. Her sigh creates a ripple on its surface. She runs her fingers through her hair, trying not to touch her new pearl earrings. She wished they wouldn't lavish her.
Behind her, someone snickers. It's Korra, over by the window, feet propped up on the ottoman.
Asami raises her eyebrow. "What?"
"I think they suit you."
"How is that?"
"They go with your eyes."
"What are you talking about? My eyes are green."
Korra snorts. "They go good with green."
Asami huffs at her, turning away. She liked silver better, anyhow.
