The seasons usually changed quickly in Republic City; one day it would be bright and sunny and warm, the next it could be frigid and cloudy.
But, it was different this year. Asami wondered if it had something to do with the spirits that happily co-existed next to them. Did they bring more warmth to the atmosphere?, Asami wanted to know.
She rolled out of bed carefully, gazing at the darker-skinned woman who lay snoring quietly, bare limbs tangled in the sheets.
Asami stretches leisurely, her shoulders popping satisfactorily, arching her back.
Korra continued to sleep, the sun warming her.
