She watches The West Wing every Sunday night. Has ever since Kristin left. She watches to catch glimpses of Kristin shining through Annabeth, like little giggles and "Kristin looks".
And she finds the show entertaining. She had laughed at the Music Man and Wizard of Oz references, and wondered briefly if Kristin had an input on them.
But tonight, for the first time, she cannot watch the show.
The sight of Kristin, looking so small and helpless, with tears pouring down her face, and knowing it isn't all acting, makes her flip off the television and reach for the phone.

The first morning that Olivia wakes up with Casey Novak in her bed, she is disoriented and surprised by the copper hair resting against her pillows. When she felt a female body pressed against hers, she was expecting blonde hair, and more specifically, Alex Cabot.
But as she takes in the slender body, with the smooth, pale skin, wrapped haphazardly in her sheets, and the peaceful look on the young woman's face, she realizes that she doesn't mind the sight at all. In fact, she is quite sure that she could get very used to it.
And indeed she does.

Maureen gasped as the words reached her ears, her body involuntarily arching upwards, pushing, trying to get as close as possible to Joanne's hand. God, she was so close.
Maureen had slept with many people before. But none of them had ever really seen her. Most of them had been one time flings, no strings attached, just because they were both craving sex. Men, women, it didn't matter. They only wanted one thing and they never really took the time to see her.
Mark was her only really serious relationship, and as long as they'd been together, he'd never actually seen her. He'd only seen the image of her, through his fucking camera lens. Even during sex, it was always about the angles, the lighting, the zooming in and out, the perfect shot. He'd never really seen her. No one had. And it was the one thing she'd always wanted.
Joanne corkscrewed her fingers deep inside Maureen, and as the orgasm rocked her, her eyes flew open and met with Joanne's. Maureen trembled and shuddered and came apart underneath Joanne. And Joanne saw her.
For the first time, someone actually saw Maureen.
