Perhaps it is only natural. After so many years covering her hands with gloves, it should come as no great shock that Elsa is always aware of her fingers, of the way they feel.
Still, it’s a surprise to discover just how sensitive they are.
Anna cradles Elsa’s hand in her own, and Elsa feels herself warming all over. Anna rubs her thumb lightly over Elsa’s knuckles, and Elsa’s face begins to grow flushed. Anna squeezes at her fingers, and Elsa’s knees feel weak and shaky.
Such small touches, but it is bare skin against bare skin and it leaves Elsa breathless.
When Anna smiles in that particularly mischievous way, when she raises Elsa’s hand to her mouth, kisses gently at her palm, her wrist, the back of her hand, Elsa gasps, heart racing within her chest.
And when Anna parts her lips, slips Elsa’s finger between them, the heat of her mouth makes Elsa dizzy. Feeling Anna’s tongue swiping over the pad, licking along the length, sucking at her finger, eyes never breaking contact with Elsa’s gaze.
Sometimes Elsa misses her gloves, misses the familiarity and the security.
But Anna’s lips against her fingers always chase those thoughts away.
