Neophytes
She watches Kasey study herself in the mirror, attempting to push out her chest and suck in her stomach. She approaches from behind, wrapping her arms around the smaller girl’s waist, “You look fine.”
Kasey leans back into her arms, “You’re just saying that because you’re nice.”
“Yes I am, so what are you worried about?”
“Missy.”
“You think we should have embraced nepotism and picked Whitney’s precocious little sister?”
“God no! That would have been a nightmare. Missy will be good for the team.”
“So what’s the dilemma?”
“She’s….well she’s flexible and talented and…… she’s hot.”
“Are you planning on leaving me for her?” she asks while nuzzling Kasey’s neck.
“No.”
“But you doubt my commitment, you think my head will be turned by every attractive girl that I encounter?”
“No, it’s just that you are sexy and beautiful and you could do better than me.”
She lets go of Kasey and heads for the exit.
“Where are you going?” Kasey’s voice is frightened.
“I had no idea how pulchritudinous I was until you informed me, so now I am off to find someone more suitable for me to couple with, frickin’ A Kasey, do you really think I’m that shallow?”
“I hope not,” Kasey looks at her in horror.
“You really need to learn to have more faith in yourself,” she twirls Kasey’s pigtail and kisses her, “now lets get out of her because I can’t do what I want to do to you in this dressing room.”

Cheap Margaritas
Dana grabs her arm, pulling her into the bathroom. As she allows herself to be lifted onto the counter she has a fleeting concern that the interest in her is because she kissed Jeremy but Dana’s cool lips convince her that this is not the case. This is not about that and even though Dana has been flirting outrageously with him and he has been hanging on her every word and shimmy, both surrendering to the moment and pretending that the great and tortured love between them will not burn them in the end, this is not about Dana’s tragically bizarre relationship with Casey either. This isn’t about the things that complicate their lives it, like Boogie Shoes and table dancing, is just something that happens whenever Dana consumes large blue drinks and, as she strokes the skin where Dana’s top rides up, Natalie wouldn’t change that for the world.

AN - Much like Alice’s (dumbmonkeygirl’s) thoughts about Copycat, I don’t think I lot of people have seen this (and to be honest I wouldn’t have seen it myself if not for Angie’s (the_girl_20) recommendation) and if you haven’t, you really, really should.
Gameplay
My wrists are chafing where they are tied to the bed but the pain isn’t unpleasant. Tonight Judy is aggressive and domineering, desperate to prove my sister wrong. She won’t allow me to move or to talk and the latter is a godsend given that there is every chance that my brother is listening at the door and if he isn’t, his perverted sons most certainly are. It’s been a long time since I was thankful for anything that Alice did but as far as I’m concerned, she can refer to Judy as a sex toy any time she likes.

Jigsaw Pieces
Miranda cleared my head a little but who and what I was is still gone. They chopped her out, only off-cuts remain, a malformed mosaic, pieces missing and intruders clawing at the gaps. Tentacles of foreign thought and feeling invade me. I stand near Inara and everything melts except Kaylee. Kaylee walks by and the metal plating reforms, Serenity is alive and beautiful and panelled with Inara. I am not whole, a weapon was made that killed the girl I used to be but sometimes I channel their desire and love and even though I’m not me, I feel real.

Nothing has felt real since she removed her shirt. She remembers the material clinging to her skin and talk of seduction mingled with wine and Indian love songs but she can’t remember how she got here. She is naked, freezing, on sheets spun from ice. She doesn’t think she will ever be warm again. Golden hair spills over her arm, an arc of sunshine that brings no warmth, hiding a greedy mouth that steals and carelessly spills precious heat. She fears she’s dying but suddenly her mouth fills with fire, molten lava replaces her blood and she is born anew.
